Our laboratory investigates nanomaterials for water treatment, biomedical, and energy applications. We combine materials synthesis, analytical chemistry, and advanced instrumental characterization to understand how material composition, structure, and surface properties influence performance. Our research aims to develop effective materials for removing contaminants from water, supporting biomedical technologies, and improving energy conversion and storage. Through interdisciplinary collaboration and hands-on student training, we connect fundamental chemical understanding with practical solutions to challenges in clean water, human health, and sustainable energy.
