Our research focuses on designing, synthesizing, and investigating nanomaterials for water treatment, biomedical, and energy applications. We examine how composition, surface chemistry, and structural defects influence material reactivity, stability, and performance. In water treatment, we explore nanomaterials and electrochemical processes for contaminant removal. Our biomedical research investigates magnetic and functional nanomaterials for applications such as antimicrobial activity and magnetic hyperthermia, while our energy research examines materials for electrocatalysis and energy storage. By combining advanced characterization with performance testing, we seek to understand the mechanisms that govern these materials and use that knowledge to guide the development of more effective technologies.
